It seemed as if right as her foot had touched the dry earth of the outside world, a shock erupted from behind her. Acantha flinched wildly, the quake thrusting her forward into the darkening, unfamiliar world. She fell onto her knees, and the sand under her vibrated with the sheer force of the noise.
